Tonight I went to my monthly women's group.. its a good time for my soul.
I also received this text, not much over an hour from when I left home:
Just finished an hour long stand off with Bowen sitting in the corner... she wouldn't say yes sir even after two pops on the rear.
Y'all, this girl of ours... she is fiercly her own!
Then 30 minutes later:
P.S. Your cookies are gone
What happens when daddy stays home, doesn't always stay with daddy at home!!

Ok, so you may remember that Valentine's Day had a little escape in it this year....
turns out, my birthday now has a little early present called... a new transmission.
yes, seriously.
and yes, the problem started quite literally the DAY after the 30-day purchase warranty expired with the person from whom we bought it.
So... Happy Car-Related Presents for the whole year of 2012 to me!

the funkiest of funks
well, this blog is a big fat flop so far this year!
Yuck!
It's almost February and I think it is more than safe to say that I've been in the funkiest of funks this month.
Maybe its the rush of the new year.
Maybe, well, honestly I just don't know.
Some days I think "oh, I should so blog about this..." but then I get home and don't have the words to make the story sound even close to what it should be.
Then I look at the fact that I've only uploaded 30 pictures for this whole month...there goes using picture inspired posts!
So what have I been doing?
Waaaay too much TV watching... Big Bang Theory, holy smokes...too funny! House (just picked it back up on Mondays, NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles on Tuesdays, new Big Bang on Thursdays, and if I get to swing it, Say Yes to the Dress & Four Weddings on Fridays. This TV in the bedroom thing is terrible for any type of independent thought process after the girls go to bed.
Planning a wedding. That's not mine, obviously, but has been SOOO much fun! I am really glad that Pinterest and Etsy weren't around when I got married because good grief at all the choices and the inspirations! But at the same time, so much cute stuff out there! And really, I'm not planning it.. I'm just answering any and all texts or emails from the bride who has been so kind to indulge me in the planning process!
Trying to be more present with my family.. and more intentional in my attention with them...which means, little to no computer time until after the girls are in bed.
Work, work and work.. Monday - Friday, 8 - 5... this whole grown up thing can stink at times.
and mostly, thinking about how I should be blogging but haven't been... but then not knowing where to start!

puppy woes
Y'all.
I don't even know if I can do this story justice through words alone.
Epic. It was epic.
Last night, in the chill of the cold evening, as we arrived home I saw a quick dark something scurry down the edge of the house and under our porch steps. I practically shoved Hayley inside, jumped in myself, slammed the door and then peeked out the window to see what it was (because that's what all sane people do in these situations)
It was a puppy... a brown and black little munchkin of a puppy with a simple plastic collar on.
I drop all our stuff inside the door and proceed into the house.
I find out that while Michael unloaded the child from his vehicle, he did not unload all the other daily necessities for today from it. I realize I'm going back outside...with the puppy that almost killed me via surprise element just minutes before. I tell Michael there is a dog out there.... He tells me not to worry about it and just get the stuff out of the car.
I open the door and a little puppy face pops out from under the truck next to the steps.
Ok, he's little. I can take him. and by take him I mean drop kick him if he starts acting the fool in my general direction... at least that's what I tell myself in my head because we all know that I'd probably be backing away very slowly or maybe quite quickly dashing to the door because I don't have it in me to kick a puppy should he begin to act the fool in my general direction)
I go out to the car.. not making eye contact or speaking to the puppy. He need not believe that this is his new home.
He beats me back to the porch and is between me and the door.
Then the little beast starts growling at me.
"Hey! Cut that out! Not at my house are you gonna growl at me. Get down. Get out of the way!"
this puppy obviously hasn't learned that people instructions matter
Then the puppy starts whimpering instead of growling as I take the first step up.
He's on the backside of the door where the hinge is.
In my diluted distraction, I think to myself, with my two full hands of stuff and shoulder bag of camera bag... I'll just ease the door open, he'll be between it and porch railing, and I'll jump into the door before he gets around it.
Idea meet failure to account for tiny puppy size and wit.
The door is not even a quarter of the way big enough for my stuff to get through let alone me when the puppy takes two sniffs with his tiny nose and wiggles himself right underneath the door into the tiniest of openings and takes off into the house.
My house. With the two daughters who are petrified of all dogs. Even tiny ones.
I yell "MICHAEL!" about the time the puppy rounds the corner and Michael lays eyes on him (Michael who was until this point sitting in the chair on the telephone). I drop my stuff, close the door back (y'all, its cold out there!), and commence to coming into the house to get to the girls or the dog or whichever came at me first.
I see the little squirt dart through the living room and into the door of Hayley's room. Michael appears to be moving in slow motion and is still on the telephone to boot. Then the puppy runs into the bathroom. The smallest room of the entire house. Where there are two girls. One on the potty. And one standing next to the bathtub.
Cue TERROR SCREAMS! Legs flying up. Bowen almost goes headfirst into tub. All I see when I round the corner is her diapered covered butt and bare legs scrambling to try and climb a bathtub. Hayley is screaming bloody murder and shaking and pulling her legs up and convulsing tighter to the fetal position everytime she looks at the dog.
Who is now hiding behind the trashcan and toilet on which she sits. Probably scared out of his ever-loving mind because I'm pretty sure he wasn't counting on busting his eardrums with children screams when he darted into our house. I sit down in the floor and grab up Bowen, start issuing condolences and its oks and quiet down. And loudly telling Hayley to stop screaming and be still and its fine and we're good.
And for the love of all things good and holy why is this dog still in here and where is Michael?
Michael, is standing in the door trying to figure out how to get to the dog between the two screaming children, the sprawled out mama and the hiding dog behind the toilet. And he's still on the phone.
Michael gets his hands on the dog and throws him back out on the porch where he tries to scramble back into the house but Michael gets the door shut. I, meanwhile, have gotten Bowen calm and am now having the "Why was there a dog in our house? I don't like dogs. I only like Lou (who is a dog who is the exception to the rule). That puppy needs to go to his house." discussion in rapid speed of
peat and repeat with Hayley who is still sitting on the potty with one lone tear still hanging onto her cheek.
I come out of the bathroom and Bowen is now playing in the living room like nothing happens. Hayley goes through the same line of questioning with Michael who has finally gotten off the phone after throwing the dog out the door.
And this all happened in less than 3 minutes.
I kid you not.
Today's note: I was greeted by the same little puppy when I came out the door this morning. He was covered in a mix of spiderwebs and dew drops. I have a very bad feeling that he has self-proclaimed our house as his home. I'm not sure where our signals got crossed because I am quite sure the girls made it perfectly clear that he was not welcome.
I however am my father's daughter, and while he will not come in my house, and I will not feed him today in hopes that he will find his way back to his owners, or they will find him, I did put a box with a towel out in the yard. It's cold and he's little. Shut your face.

Saturday, October 15
Evidently, we've lost our minds...
There is a fish in a trifle dish on our table...
We had ring pops...ALL over us and our new carseat....
We said "yes" to going on an adventure...
And spent last night with a Mouse...but not close to the real mouse, that would be too much
but the treats were fun, fun, fun!

bouncing back...slowly
So as you may know, my last rising to Internet connection related to surviving the virus, version 10.2.2011
To say that it caused a major default in my activity level, including blogging, would be a major understatement. I am JUST NOW getting to the point where I actually want to eat and want to get anything accomplished. And, as a side note, I have JUST NOW finally finished putting up all the loads of clothes made possible by the virus. Yes, I am that good of a housekeeper. You're welcome for your dose of reality.
I've got pictures forth coming from our two adventures last week... Hayley's class went to the fire station (and trust me, that warrants a post in itself) and we also spent a few hours at the local Kolomoki Festival, because if nothing else, my Mama installed in me the need to attend all local festivals during the months of October and November, because its just what you do...and that is logic enough. (even though Michael doesn't always share the logical aspect of my argument).
Also, in synopsis (which I hope I spelled right), this is what show and tell for Hayley has looked like at school.
Week 1: Baby Doll (she said she was taking a beach ball until we got out of the car and school and then decided she wanted to take the Baby Doll instead)
Week 2: Beach Ball (from previous week)
Week 3: Kitchen Whisk (although, this was cut short by pinkeye)
Week 4: Clifford book and stuffed Clifford dog (also cut short by random unexplained stomach issue)
Week 5: 2 locust shells inside a pink princess tupperware container
Week 6: green blanket (what are you going to tell them about your blanket? "that its soft. and I like it")
Week 7: 7 grandparents. Well, not really, they weren't for show and tell but it was grandparents lunch and that's how many Hayley has (counting her great-grands, which we do)...well actually, she has 8, but one was sick and didn't get to go. So, if your kid goes to this same school next year and there is a limit on grandparents, we did that. We apologize.

Its Friday...hip, hip hooray!
Welcome Tricia! Follower #18! And thank you for your many comments!!
Well, let's see...yesterday was a bit of an adventure. We decided to take the girls to the first home volleyball meet at the high school because our cousin is coaching the team for the first time. Hayley was very excited about it when we got there...she was bent and determined to speak to Morgan and watch the game...until the buzzer went off to cue the start... she screamed and cried. Total meltdown. Then proceeded to spend the next hour of the ballgame with her hands covering both her ears. It was very loud in the gym, so I'll give her that... but she wouldn't even try taking her hands down despite the fact that the buzzer didn't go again. She ended up going to dance with Breeze to get away from the loud. This morning when I got to school, her teacher asked me if she said anything about yesterday....when I said "no" she said, "oh, well, we had a fire drill..." and I already knew what was coming at that point. I am glad she wasn't traumatized enough to talk about it when she got home, but that may explain the volleyball reaction a little better... she is really really emotional about loudness...especially if its sudden and unexpected.
Baby girl on the other hand thought that volleyball games were an excellent time to eat 2 1/2 bags of cookies (they were snack size, I swear it!) and tottle around to her hearts content with bare feet on a filthy floor. She was a little worn out, hungry and I think tired of the noise too, so we ended up leaving before the final set of games was over. But she overall, seemed to enjoy it much more so than her sister. And even did some clapping and waving of her own.
Tonight the girls will go to Breezy's house for a spend-the-night party as we get ready for Saturday-a-gedon... wedding shower at 10 a.m., first birthday at 2 p.m., third birthday at 5 p.m...whew, its gonna be a doozy of a day! And mama's got a feeling she's not going to get a nap in there!

In all fairness
I haven't talked much about life lately...and its because its a weird sort of place for me...this place that we are now...well, I don't know... obviously, that's why I've stuck to topic and linky posts here recently...
Overall, life is good. The girls are good. We are good.
We've struck into normalcy with our new home and its been really nice to have a house under control.... before we moved our house was in constant chaos, dirty clothes, dirty dishes, messy floors, the whole kit and kaboodle... and it was really frustrating and discouraging but really beyond where we could get a workable grasp on it... I mean, we could get it clean....but it'd be back to awful pretty quickly. Since we moved, we've pared down A.LOT. and it has been good for the house, but good for the soul too. We are doing better at keeping a clean house (since there is a lot less stuff in it!) and dishes and laundry (since the washer and dryer are inside instead of outside utility room) and since we now live where there are no restaurants...we have to make better and more deliberate choices with our evening meals and actually eating together as a family. These things are good.
In other places, I feel like... bleh, I don't know the right word. We are getting settled into our ministry with the church...but, its kind of a weird place because we're trying to work with the members to do new things to reach the community but at the same time not completely flip the boat as to their ways of doing things. Its this odd balance between personal and pastoral that we are still trying to navigate.
I'd really like to be doing more with photography but I can't really figure that out into timing and schedules and life in general.... I am bound and determined to become a master of manual shooting, be it the death of me...but I really don't like taking bad photos so that makes me not want to use it...but I'm just going to have to buck up and practice with some shots that don't matter so that the ones that do matter I'll be ready for.
I also feel like I'm in this odd place of trying to balance the "must dos" with the "live it and love it" mentality. I definitely feel like I'm making some improvements with this...but some days, it just feels like I'm trying to make it to bedtime and not really "living" the day.
Anyway, its a whole conundrum of what nots and who fors and lots of other confusion...which, I have now confused you with...so go, and be merry on your Monday.

I may be reaching denial...
5 days until I have a 3 year old
8 days until said 3 year old starts "dance school"
9 days until said 3 year old starts "big girl school"
days to complete denial: still to be determined, but I'm going with sooner rather than later
Also... welcome followers 15 & 16! Glad to have you around! (well, Kara, glad to have you officially around, I know you've been out there for a while! : ) )

just a little catchup
Hi. My name is Meghan. Here are some random facts for you today:
1. I have a really organized multi-step process for filing my filing at work. Unfortunately, the really organized part is in theory and the actual filling into the cabinent is more of a quarterly process than a weekly. I. despise. paper.
2. Pinterest is giving me way more ideas than I have time.
3. I may have gotten a little, just a smidge, into over planning and details and great big dreams (but not really all that much money spent, which is even better) with Hayley's upcoming birthday party. I blame Pinterest and Etsy...except, its not really blame because I love them both dearly.
4. I have a shopping list that spans from August to December that is really only minutes away from being a complete month-by-month purchasing guide for upcoming birthdays and Christmas. Etsy, I love you.
5. For my birthday I got a laptop. Last month I got a wireless mouse to accompany it. A few months back, we moved. Into a furnished parsonage. With a TV in the bedroom. Needless to say, I spend the duration of my time from when the girls go to bed until I go to bed doing all of my favorite things in one spot.. Get in some tv, stretch out and add in some hodge podge internet browsing while using my wireless mouse from the bedside table. yes, its that bad
and because five works for me. That's a wrap!

In what was really more of a non-event that I thought it would be, we moved on Saturday. We got up with the intentions of taking more stuff to Bluffton...then we thought about that some of our "sold" furniture would be gone on Monday, so we might as well just move on. So that's what we did.
Now, don't take that as everything is out of the house and into the church house, because that would not be the case. There is still some random hodge podge items that are going to need to be moved and there are several pieces of furniture that are going to be making their way back to their original owners... and a few items that we'd still like to sell.
I would like to point out that in the process of just up and deciding to move between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., that we may have encountered some minor adventures... such as getting everything packed up to realize that neither of our children were clothed and that their clothes were beyond reachable in the vehicles...ahem, so we may have strapped them in and drove them to the new house in nothing but a pair of panties and a diaper. To which after being in the car for 3 minutes Hayley may have just asked her daddy "Where my clothes at? I not have any clothes on!" to which he got to explain that mama had lost her mind packing everything up and not paying attention to whether anyone in the house was actually dressed before doing so. Ahem.
I also may have, in the same likelihood, realized that all my clothes were packed up as well and my red stripped pajama pants and brown tank top were my forced attire for stopping to get gas because the fuel light was on. Ahem. I have never been so grateful for pay at the pump.
Overall though, it was a pretty good day. I am still accepting volunteers to deep clean the house so we can get it ready to sell... and also taking volunteers to baby-distract at the new house while I attempt to get everything unpacked and put away.
I'd also like to note, for what I beleive to be the first time since we had children, that all clothes that belong to us are clean. As in, the laundry baskets are empty. EMPTY I say. I think we've washed about 10 loads of clothes and towels and sheets in the past 2 days. The great thing about moving is that we've adopted the "if there's no place for it, we don't need it!" philosophy. So by getting all the laundry done we can purge that 500 haphazzardly thrown in a box baby hangers that we don't need... and can purge out things that will never again fit over these 2 babies set of hips, you know, like shorts that I had in college... which was, oh, FIVE years ago now. Really, its time for them to go.
My ultimate goal is actually to purge my entire closet of things I don't love (which is all but about 5-6 items) over the next few months/year and replace them with clothes that I do love. (which in my head means I can have a smaller closet because I won't keep things that I don't really like but have to wear because I don't have anything I do like... make sense?) I've been pretty much wearing the exact same things for the 3 years I've been working and I'm a little burned out on most of them. So, combine that with the fact that we have a dress code and I don't shop often and my closet is pretty much a source of contention. BUT! It will get better.
I ordered 3 new dresses this past week for this summer. I just love a maxi dress since short dresses and small children lead to akward moments and positions. So I got THREE! Mama says I shop like a little old lady buying one of every color when I find something I like. And. I. DO. ha... but I am hoping that these will fit since I ordered online. And I am hoping that they make it in before my 2 June weddings to attend!! And I hope to be able to find a little sweater or something that will work with them for the fall or for church since its always negative ten in our sanctuary. I'm not kidding. I keep a snuggie there. A snuggie that one of the church ladies gave me so I'd quit taking a baby quilt out of the nursery to cover with. Yes, you read that right.
Anywho, happy holiday!

What's In your...basket?
Joining up with Whitney again... and diving into the contents of my bag purse basket.
When I have the girls with me, I move my wallet, keys and phone into their diaper bag and its the only bag I carry. The extent of my "makeup" is chapstick so that also travels from diaper bag to basket.
Yes, I said basket. TWICE!
This is my version of a bag/purse/carry all... the other side just has an M on it... This is what I haul with me to and from work daily...it literally travels from my front seat, into my house, back to the front seat, into my office, rinse, lather repeat.
This basket is my catch all.. it serves as part lunch box, part purse, part shoe collector (when Hayley doesn't want to put them on to go home from daycare)
Now for the scary part... here's what's inside....
2- 20-ounce Mr. Pibb bottles (our church is going to collect dimes over the next year in 20-ounce bottles and the money goes to Pure Water)
1 gray umbrella that is probably as old as I am... I got it out of Puff, the 83 Cutlas Supreme I drove junior year after I wrecked my first car.
1 package of Chips Ahoy cookies.. in the BLUE plastic bag. Yes, its a full-sized package.
2 Holiday pencils, unsharpened (one is Christmas and one is Valentines), 1 solid green unsharpened pencil
1 valentine heart sucker
2 pictures of Hayley that I took out a frame at work to take back home since they were over a year old (Make that 3)
1 package of AAA batteries that I bought and for some reason they are in my bag instead of in the closet or whichever item needed AAA batteries
1 Sea Band left over from wearing them through my pregnancy with Bowen. yes I know that ended 9 months ago, back up off me.
1 butterfly pin that a coworker gave me that I wore for my green on St. Patty's day
1 pair of sunglasses
1 hair clip
1 key to parsonage on peanut keychain
Loose change (2 dimes, 2 pennies)
Multiple loose bottle caps (one of the local Pre-K teacher uses them in her classroom)
My Petite Bible... its the size of a wallet, a gift from a co-worker 2 Christmases ago
Cell Phone Charger
1 package of Kleenex
1 piece of scratch paper with all the information for Hayley's swimming lessons on it
5 pens (make that 8)
1 regular rubber band
1 post it note with a SSN on it (not safe, I know, I know!)
1 Georgia decal
1 small lotion bottle (also a Christmas gift)
1 small lipstick sampler (obviously a Christmas gift, still in the plastic bag it was given to me in)
1 receipt (make that2 3)
1 mini-memo notebook
1 bill from ambulance company that I had to call about it and they sent a new one
1 promo card for Camera Ready Communities
1 25-day devotional book that I got as a freebie in the mail last week
1 ziploc bag of photos of someone else's child (they were mixed in with pictures they gave me of my girls, so I think they are not actually mine to have)
1 Book on the Holocaust (my cousin loaned it to me without prompt so it hasn't left my bag yet, don't tell her)
1 old-school linen hankercheif
2 CD cases with cds that are musical but not sure what they are in them
1 ziploc bag with Huggies coupons (anybody need them?)
1 folded piece of paper with instructions on what items can be mailed to World Vision kids
1 Relay for Life button
1 gift certificate for a pedicure from 2008 (I'm gonna guess that's expired now...)
1 Wet Nap
1 6-pack of Sudafed
2 clothespins (I have NO idea)
2 peppermints
1 Hayley hair clip
1 extra button from a new sweater
1 Subway gift card
1 package of nail files
1 Box Top
1 undelivered Valentine Card (Lane, that's yours)
1 business card to my favorite Mexican place
1 Georgia Alumni decal
1 discount business card for a monogramming place

I am SO supermom!!
I TOOK BOTH MY GIRLS TO WALMART BY MYSELF IN THE RAIN BEFORE 10 A.M.
OK, so, in order for you to fully grasp how much the above title really means, you must have the following understandings:
1. I do not shop with my children, both at the same time, unless someone else is with me.
2. Bowen, in her depraved status as a second child, has only been into a store less than 5 times in her entire 9 months of life, most of those when she was still carrier bound and sleeping.
3. Even with Number 1 taken into consideration, I can count on my fingers the number of times both girls and I have been shopping.
Ok, that being said.... Saturday morning the girls got up at 7 a.m. (can I have a hallelujah?! 7 is the magic number at our house!)... I had already planned for us to go to the brand-spanking-fabulously-new-and-exciting Walmart in Eufala since we were at the lake house and Daddy was fishing... so, I got the girls breakfast (Nutrigrain bars, you know me well enough to know that I don't cook) and got them dressed and did the appropriate amount of engaging Hayley's excitement (do you want to go shopping? YES! do you want to go to Walmart shopping? YES!) and opened the door at 8:15... to pouring rain.... not to worry, Mama's got a coat and a mission...
So, we loaded up and off we went... and we survived!!!
We left the original list at the lakehouse so I had to make another one in the parking lot of Walmart on scrap paper I located in the depths of my car... then once we got inside I forgot to look at the list since I was convinced that I had written it down 3 times (let's not talk about the fact that the very-first-original list was made on Wednesday and left at the church house) that I could remember it and besides, who has time and hands to look at a list when you are in Walmart with 2 girls?! Not me I tell you, not me! So we managed to spend all Daddy's money (and Hayley told him he needed to go work some more to make some more money... we are nothing if not realists in our home) and managed to forget ONE of the only reasons we went in the first place, alongside with 5 other optional items that I didn't have time to ponder over with the girls wanting to keep moving and trying to keep Hayley the snack monster occupied during the shopping trip...
but neither here nor there,
I AM SO SUPERMOM!

any given day...
this is what we look like....
especially if we're in public....
one girl each...
and always looking at the other one...
and sometimes we manage to do it in clothes other than t-shirts
just not this day

newsy news
- Yesterday, Hayley wore big girl panties for several hours and didn't have an accident. We had 4 successful potty trips during the big girl panties evening.
- This morning, Hayley told Sha Sha (for the very first time) that she had to go potty. (She's only been going when Sha Sha asks her if she needs to).
- Last night and this morning Hayley wore big girl panties over her pull-up. Its hard to explain why she can wear them awake but not asleep, so we compromised with both.
- For the record, even the small panties are too big for her little tail.
- Bowen can not decide if she wants to get up just once a night (which is fabulous, obviously) or if she'd rather get up twice a night and stay up for 1 hour and 30 minutes on the second get-up (not so fabulous).
- I'm raising money for Relay for Life... give me some of yours.
- Michael accepted the Pastor's position at Bluffton Baptist Church.... I guess that makes me a pastor's wife... and us officially "bi-vocational"
- We moved our letter to Bluffton Baptist Church this past Sunday (as a part of the statement above).
- When we got to BBC Sunday, they had collected new toys for the nursery, put batteries in all the noisy toys and washed all the linens. They're excited to have babies again.
- If you are in the area, you should come to church with us. ( I mean, your church is good for you too, but you're always welcome to visit.)
- I felt Baby Smith kick before Breezy. He's quite the little thumper.
- His mama scored some major Baby Bedding (crib, changing table and bedding set) at the Ozark Consignment Sale for next to nothing. Seriously, she spent less than $400 for all of the above...unbeatable.
- This fact makes his Breezy happy because she was starting to worry that he wouldn't have a place to sleep when he got here.... in December.

dear papers
Dear papers that need filing,
I hate you. Please stop multiplying at night when there is no one here to supervise you. Also, if you could train yourself to jump into alpha order when I'm not looking that would be much appreciated. Please don't make me send my two year old with crayons in after you.
in disgust,
meghan

denial
you must read the title as it is said by the sharks in Finding Nemo.
As of Friday, I will have a 2 year old. I'm not so sure I'm ready for this, but nothing I can do to stop it from happening.
As of Monday, I'll be back to work full-time. I think I am ready for this, but once again, its nothing I can't stop from happening so... along we go.
Observation 1: Now I know why nursing is easier than formula... no bottles to wash! Seriously, I'm washing 6 bottles every 24 hours and each bottle has 4 pieces!!
Fact 1: Everytime Michael puts Bowen down at night she sleeps until 4:30. If I put her down, she's up at 2:30. What kind of sense does this make when we use the same routine???
Fact 2: Baby Smith is a boy. you know.... one of those creatures that we don't know nothin' about. We'll see how this goes... according to Mama "all I know is that the doo dah points down" bahahahahahaha (that would be when you are diapering to prevent leaks from the top of the diaper...and that would be info given to her by Sugar who has lots of boy grandbabies)
Observation 2: Hayley has come home from daycare saying "ohh man" when something doesn't work out or gets dropped on accident or the like... its hysterical. You'll hear that in the next video I post.... which will be sometime soon because I've got to get it uploaded. Its also a testament to how she is her Aunt Mischa's child.
that is all for now. more to come as randomness arises.

things that are true
Me & Breeze don't do so good at keeping the backdoor of my house open when its locked.
Read that as: we've gotten locked out twice since lunch.
Read that to mean: we've had to use the spare to the front door.
Which sounds not that bad unless you've seen whats behind our front door.
That would be a mattress/boxsprings to a double bed, 2 sets of stackable shelves, 2 folding chairs, 2 baskets and several piles of clothes...
there's a yardsale a brewin
which resulted in me shoving the door open just far enough to get inside, then hurdling over the back of the sofa to get inside the house.
luckily when we locked ourselves out the first time I remembered to put the spare key back outside.
did I forget to mention that both times we locked ourselves out my house keys were inside and Michael is in Mexico which means I don't know where his house keys are??

I love my girls
I'm glad to have Breezy and Big Dave to let me stay with them for a week.
I miss my hubby
We are trying Bowen out on formula and a bottle and may be weaning her completely from nursing (its her initiative)...
They weren't kidding when they say that every child is different.... I mean, really.
Pictures and adventures from Breezy's house to come soon.... but there is no internet in the country.
Chips Ahoy now offer reeses... can't we just leave the blue bag alone people??!!
Lane owes me some custom designed business cards from last year... get with the program Punkin... (but your mom told me not to remind you until next week... I think she'd prefer you pack this week)
Trying out a Be Band since the maternity pants are now too big but my pants are too small through the waist.
Any tips for losing a post-c-section belly quickly?? alongside 15 pounds??
Court mentioned Taco Bell and now I'm craving some... thanks a lot! : )
Hayley is getting the hang of the potty thing slowly... but she's not a self-initiator. yesterday I got her to sit and poop and she turned around (oh she is so going to kill me for this story when she's 13) looked at it and said "hayley make that. show big dave" so we did what all good mommies do... left it in the hayley potty until big dave got home to see it.
p.s. blogger, love the new preview... much better than before.
