slumber party

As I type this I'm watching old school Tom & Jerry and my oldest daughter is drinking chocolate milk in her Dora underwear, a treat reserved for Big Dave's house. I've commandered Uncle T's laptop as the only available connection to the internet world. Aunt Mischa told me yesterday that I was due for an update and it needed pictures, so I'm seeing what I can round up this morning.

As is custom in our family, grandchildren are given intermediate weigh-ins at the local Post Office... here is Grady's Week 4 weigh-in...

Obviously, Uncle T & Aunt Mischa's computer has more Grady choices than Bowen and Hayely, and rightly so.

We all decended on Big Dave & Breezy's house for a slumber party since both Daddies were out of town for the evening. 3 babies got supper, play time, strolling time and baths last night. All babies went to sleep by 9:30, all is well with the world.

All babies woke up at 6:15 ready to take on the day.

Someone forgot to tell the babies that it was Saturday.

Bowen decided that if she was going to be up and attempt she would serenade the rest of the household into a state of awakeness. Grady decided it was safer to sit back and listen and take his turn talking in the short burst of quiets between Bowen's singing/babbling/general ruckus.

Here's Hayley girl back in November... for all of us to take as many pictures as we do, it takes us a long time to get around to sharing them so this is my first look at it. She was very impressed with the play factor of cattle gates...what can I say? Simple pleasures, simple pleasures.

A Junkie

I am a TV junkie when it comes to cake decorating shows.

So today I got my first training in little boys and diapers changing....


one that resulted in high-pitched shrieking and a change of clothes for Baby Boy.
