So I've got to get a new update in to settle my recently recruited stalker.. haha, heart to Kara and the Linkers!
We've been busy bees as usual this month.
Michael is well immersed in school and is teaching 3 busines classes as well as directing the work-based learning program at ECHS. (Its the new and improved DCT program) He's getting ready to start fall classes although we have yet to find out his class dates... grr at VSU for being slow with that.
I'm still working along at the paper five days a week and have added on Children's Choir Director for grades 1-5 to my list of activities. Its pretty fun and I've got great help, so its just a matter of teaching the music and letting the kids sing it! I'm hoping that we will have a song ready to sing in Sept. and we are already working on one for Christmas. Its going to be pretty neato.
We survived the Eufala tournament... so hot!.. and are getting ready for Seminole this month. If you have access to the Albany Herald, pull out Sunday's edition and you'll find a special on Fishermen for the Hungry in the sports section. Pretty neat if I do say so!
The hunt for the ever elusive Powell Christmas card is underway.
We've got 3 weddings lined up from now until December... a few more that are possibilities, but Michael will be sufficiently wedding-ed out after 3.
Thats all thats out and about our way.
