Busy month, two posts!

This month has been quite intense at the Williams house, so I'm taking a breath to do some more updating.

My children's choir survived, and did great, in their first appearance before the church.. the highlight of the performance being the 4th grader, whose family was running late, that came running down the aisle, and vaulted onto the stage as the music started.. it was fabulous.

Michael is now the Minister of Education at FBC and its keeping us both busy. But in good ways. I'm thinking of having a "clean up for the kids" day where we organize, compile and clean out the bokoodles and bokoodles (I'm not sure that I spelling that right) of supplies for VBS and all the children's activities. Plus it would open up one very nice sized room that is currently the "Throw it there and leave it" junk room. But we haven't made it that far in planning yet!! Things with the ministry are also going well, we've got a big buck contenst ongoing for deer season and our mailing list has reached 275!!! The Lord is good!!

I've also gotten semi-motivated to be healthy and joined a bible study an aerobics class on Wednesday nights. Its pretty fun, even if it involves exercise!

I've got my eyes out on a new camera, Canon Rebel XTI, and I'm hoping that some saving will make it mine one day sooner than later. I'd really like to start doing some photography for people, and for money, and with this camera it would be possible!!

We've got our next to last fishing tournament this weekend in Blackshear. After the Classic in October, we'll be fish free until 2008.

In other news, Mischa ordered a wedding dress and registered at Dilliards and Browns, so the wedding progress is under control.

I think that is about it on our end... if anyone would like to come over and do a massive house cleaning and kitchen painting, we are now accepting volunteers!! haha

A Speedy September

September is already flying by and it just started!!

We broke in the new month at the EC2055 Block Party featuring Sawyer Brown. We missed a wedding per my instructions to cover it for work, but all is well. If you want to see any of the nearly 450 photos I took, as well as any other photos taken since my employment at the EC News, go to our www.dotphoto.com, login with username ECNEWS and password 4800. You can view and ORDER, hint hint hint. Or you can buy images directly from me in the form of a photo CD, but its gonna cost ya.. hahah.. no really. : )

In other news, Michael has decided to become a licensed minister and see where that takes us. But before everyone freaks out, no we are not looking to leave Blakely at this moment, yes Michael is still working on his doctorate and has plans to finish it before going any further with this ministry thing, yes he is still working at the school system. Now, moving on.

Mischa turned 21 at the beginning of the month so now all of us Powells are old.. but we knew it was coming. Plans are still in the making for the wedding in March, so stick around and pencil that in.

Work has been up and down here lately.. sharing a battle of frustration and acheivement and almost habitual exhaustion... but at least its busy right?? I really love certain aspects of what I do, but there are other parts that aren't as fun, and as in all newspapers, if you don't find the mistakes you make before printing, they are marked in print history...

I'm loving working with the children's choir although I'm quite certain they all had candy before coming to choir yesterday, but we sing on Sunday and it should be interesting if nothing else! haha.

Thats about it and back to work I go!
