I have the cutest baby in the world. That's all there is to it!

Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping.. into the future

Mad props to Space Jam for the title..

So to say I've been a little out of the blog loop would be quite the understatement... but I have good reasons!

So Hayley is here, 3 months of here actually, and being parents is GREAT! She's a relatively low key baby..except when it comes to getting in her carseat - which she hates with a passion beyond her few months... and she's now entered a "cry myself down" for late afternoon naps. She's a little pig and is over 11 pounds already, a pretty good jump from her 7 lb. 9 oz. entrance into this world... and starting rolling over this week, although we are by no means a pro yet. I almost feel like she's in a pageant the way this conversation is going, cue emcee voice ... "Hayley enjoys sitting up (with help of course) bouncing, standing, and flying (also with assistance). She can mostly hold her own bottle and puts herself to sleep at night. She is hardly ever seen in the same outfit twice because she has too many to choose from." hahaha

Otherwise, we've been in different states of change since July...

Michael is no longer in the classroom.. he works half-time as Technology Director, to be full-time, sole director next fall...and half-time with the work-based learning program at ECHS (formerly DCT)... he is no longer working part-time at FBC, but still has the ministry newsletter going out monthly (we're up to 400 mailouts a month)and is still speaking at churches and events fairly regularly. He has a new truck, so we've said adios to the white F150.

I've been back at work since mid-September and its going pretty good. Hayley likes daycare and our sitters hours are perfect for me to drop her off and Michael to pick her up in the afternoons. I'm still trying to find the best routine for keeping a, at least, semi-clean house and semi-managable laundry pile, but we're making it work. I've taken on a role in the FBC children's Christmas play (its going to be funny, you should come) and I'm helping direct/stage the youth Christmas play (Best Christmas Pageant Ever) so I'm spending 3 hours a week being dramatic..haha. I've also picked up a new author that I'm reading, Francine Rivers, she writes Christian fiction and it is really great reads! I still haven't sold my Bonneville (so buy it or send someone you know to buy it) but the Escape and I are having good times.

We replaced our heater and fuse box just recently with the onset of winter... we spent a week having a "sleep over" at my in-laws for the duration of the project, but we are back home, warm, and in less fire danger than before. Michael is also steadily selling our furniture and cleaning out our house, which is great.. however, our storage issues are far from over! We would also like to find some land to put a house (and pond of course) on, but haven't had any luck so far, but we just are taking it a day at a time in that department, and trying to save up as much as possible in the process.

If you want to see pictures of Hayley, you should either be my facebook friend or email me, because I've got them uploaded several places and am not going through that again for here to.

Hopefully I'll be back soon!
