So I've been quite the slacker in terms of updates in the past few weeks so I'm going to try and catch y'all up on all our activities.
Clearwater Ministries has been officially incorporated and the first month's mailings issued. For more information on this check out www.clearwaterministries.net.
I'm working with the children's choir at the church on Wednesday night and each week is a new adventure! I'm using my ASL skills with them, teaching them sign language to two songs for our end of the semester performance. We are going through the Gospel of Mark in our Sunday School class (now called a LIFE group - new name, same principle) with several other couples our age. Its pretty interesting.
I'm enjoying my work at the paper though it can be a bit stressful at times...its the perfectionist in me I guess. I really enjoy building ads and doing page layout... I'm currently putting 3-5 pages of the EC News together a week! The paperwork side of it, organizing invoices and tearsheets, is definitly the ho-hum part of the job, but it keeps me busy.
Michael's classes are keeping him busy in the afternoon with reading and writing and research. He is excited about Monday's holiday because that means he can go fishing and take the new trolling motor out for round two.
We received our official photography proof album last week and are working through it for orders. If you haven't seen it and want to see, or order from it, you need to come visit us before March 8, that is when we have to take it back and place all orders.
Michael and I have begun discussing options for painting the kitchen in the house, but I'm not sure when exactly we plan to get started since its going to be quite the job with painting walls, trim and cabinents. But it will be fun, and the final painting of the house interior!
We are looking forward to taking on our first fishing tournament of the year next weekend at Lake Seminole. If you don't know a lot about our fishing involvements, or want to know more, check out www.fishermenforthehungry.com ( I think its .com, if not, search engine fishermen for the hungry, and it will come up!)
And thats a wrap for today!
Until Next Time,
Meghan & Michael
